They can create such havoc that your computer will no longer boot into Windows or slow it down to a crawl. These programs come from free music download sites, x-rated sites, free gaming sites, or just clicking on an advertisement for something that sounds useful or fun. Spyware can be as crippling to your computer as viruses, and removal can be just as difficult.
